Free Country Cross Stitch Mini Design
This mini country cross stitch design features hearts, flowers and a sweet little duck. It’s perfect for a greeting card but could be stitched onto anything you like. It would look really sweet attached to the pocket of a little girl’s dress for example.

Stitched on a 14 count Aida this design will be approx 2.5” square, it’s just a fraction taller than it is wide. Here I’ve stitched it on a 28 count evenweave which is the same as a 14 count Aida of course.
You can stitch this design up in any threads you have. It doesn’t use much of anything so it would be a good chance to use up leftovers from a larger project. Just for reference here’s the DMC threads I used in the example above:
The design is worked in full cross stitches throughout with some backstitch around the duck and a french knot for the duck’s eye.
