Handmade Monday #418
/Hello everyone and a warm welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday. Handmade Monday is our creative link up where bloggers can link up their craft tutorials, projects, recipes etc to inspire us all.
I am such an untidy crafter with what my mum always called “a grasshopper mind”. I flit from one thing to another and have dozens of half completed project all around the place. I try not to worry too much and figure it’ll all get done eventually but I would like to get a bit tidier and more organised if possible.
I saw on Instagram last week that Craft with Cartright was having a week of finishing up WIPs (work in progress). I made a similar promise back in January but mine had a slightly gentler pace, I thought I’d try to finish at least one half made thing per week and I’ve kind of managed it - almost!
On the left are my finished things and on the right is the basket still waiting for my attention.
These are only things I started a while ago and got stuck on, or lost interest in, not the ongoing plans I have for tutorials here on Sum of their Stories or the things I make regularly for my Etsy shop. That said, some of these finally finished items have found their way to my Etsy shop now, some are gifts for upcoming birthdays and some might even become a tutorial here one day! I’m especially pleased to get the crocheted bag finished because the crochet squares were finished back in March 2020 and have just sat there waiting patiently for me ever since - ops!
Anyway, now let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday.
Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
This crocheted carrot treat bag from Agnes Creates is fun. Just big enough for a handful of mini eggs, or perfect to be used for decor too.
Simple Everyday Mom has a cute idea to make these carrot Easter cards.
Keeping with the carrot theme these Carrot Brownies by Walking on Sunshine look delicious.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
