Handmade Monday #411
/Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday.
Handmade Monday is our creative link up where bloggers can link up their craft tutorials, projects, recipes etc to inspire us all.
For Valentine’s day my husband and I don’t do very much, we exchange cards and maybe tiny gifts, one or other of us usually bakes something. This year I made this simple Choc Fudge Slice in this heart shape tin that used to be my mum’s. She must have bought it 40 odd years ago and it can only have been used a handful of times, I just get it out now and again for Valentine’s day or our anniversary. Anyway, here’s today’s top tip: line your tin with baking paper better than I did and leave the choc fudge slice to cool completely otherwise you can’t get it out of the tin! Or don’t bother with a fancy shaped tin and just spoon it out warm, it’s delicious with ice cream and strawberries! The recipe is one from Nancy Birtwhistle who is such a delight to follow on Facebook and Instagram (I also own a couple of her books)
Let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday.

Hello Sewing has a great tutorial to make this zippered box pouch with a nice neat and tidy lining. I love this style of pouch, and this way of doing the lining make a wonderful neat finish. I’m going to be making some of these in the week, I’ve got them cut out already!
Beautiful rock and pebble decorating ideas from Thriving with Less.
I’ve always loved Mondrian’s art ever since we studied it at school (way back when) I really like how Missy from Sonata Home Design decorated these plain glass pieces in a Mondrian style.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
