Handmade Monday #399
/Hi folks and a very warm welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday, our weekly link up. Handmade Monday is a place where creative bloggers can share craft ideas, tutorials, recipes etc, giving us all a chance to be inspired. Grab a cuppa and take a moment scroll through and see what inspires you this week.
I enjoyed a lovely craft night with my friends this week where we made angels from yarn. There was 8 of us in all, a mix of ages, and we had a whole load of different yarns and craft materials to play with. It’s lovely to see what different styles we all came up, although I didn’t get round to photograph them all. Time with friends, chatting, laughing, eating and drinking plus the addition of a craft is a perfect way to spend an evening!
Now let’s just check out the features from last week’s Handmade Monday.
Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
This woven scarf from Maya at The Little Treasures is stunning. I remember having a craft magazine back in the 80’s when I was a teenager with a blanket made in a similar way and thinking it was gorgeous. It was an American magazine, my dad had brought it back for me after a business trip, and I studied every project. The magazine called the project an afghan and it was the first time I’d seen a blanket or throw called that!
These Gingerbread people place names from Crazy Little Love Birds are so cute. You could even leave them plain for young members of the family and provide them with pens so they can decorate their own.
Petra from Strickwahn / Knitting Craze has a free pattern to crochet this adorable little tree. The pattern is in german but with google translate to help you (if your german is like mine and a little limited) plus all the photos Petra has provided it looks really do-able.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
