Handmade Monday #373
/Hi everyone and a big welcome to another Handmade Monday.
This is our weekly creative link up where craft bloggers can stop by and share new or old creative projects and tutorials and we can all be inspired.
I’ve joined in the Me Made May challenge again this year over on Instagram. I’ve joined in every now and again over the last 8 years or so, the nice thing about Me Made May is that you decide your own challenge (within reason of course) so you can make it as challenging as you want. I pledge the same thing each year, I’m going to attempt to wear at least one handmade thing each day. I have quite a lot of garments I’ve sewn so it’s not too difficult for me these days, but I do include things like earrings I’ve made to which makes it even easier.
I discovered a few years ago that I feel slightly less awkward in photo if I’m holding something, hence the cup of tea. I seem to have worn 3 white shirts 3 days out of 4! I didn’t actually realise I had that many but that’s the beauty of Me Made May as it helps you realise what you’ve got, where the gaps are in your wardrobe etc.
That’s enough about me and Me Made May, let’s check out the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. If you find any of the features are in a language you don’t know - I absolutely love how many people join us from all over the world here - then just right click anywhere on the page and ask google to translate it for you. It’s rarely perfect but good enough to get the general idea. How wonderful that our love of crafts and creativity can bring us together from all corners of the planet :-)
Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
These lotion bars from Ann’s Entitled Life look lovely, wouldn’t they make a wonderful gift (plus it would be tempting to keep one or two for yourself as well!)
Lemon and blueberry is just a classic combo, and one of my favourites. These cupcakes from Recipes Simple look SO good.
Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S gave some bird garden ornaments and an old candle stick a whole new look transforming them into this lovely “bird on a perch”.
Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
