Handmade Monday #367
/Welcome to another Handmade Monday, our weekly link up for all things handmade.
This week I’ve been working on the experimental upcycling embroidery that I started last weekend at the Creative Crafts Show as and when time has allowed. This is such a fun technique, no rights or wrongs but it’s a little crazier than my normal style. Highly recommended though if you want to try something freestyle.
I’m starting our Handmade Monday a little early this week, just because I’m actually away with friends for the weekend and so access to wifi is a little limited. We are visiting the Cotswold Water Park which is absolutely lovely. It’s part holiday park and part wildlife reserve.
The photo on the left is actually of the River Thames - the same huge river that flows through London, but here is very close to its source so it’s small and so, so clear.
Let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday:
Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
I really love the fact that we have entries to Handmade Monday from all over the world, what a wonderful way to connect us all. However sometimes this means that blogs might be in a different language. Just double click to get google translate to pop up so you can understand what is going on :-)
Carolyn from Flickensalat has also been hand stitching, she shared this beautiful boro inspired stitch journal cover.
Claire from Pillar Box Blue has a lovely tutorial showing how to paint daffodils.
Wendy from WM Design House made this fun carrot wreath, underneath there are 2 candy cane wire frame - isn’t that a clever idea.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
