Handmade Monday #313
/Welcome to Handmade Monday 313. Handmade Monday is our link up for handmade ideas, crafts and recipes. Creative bloggers can share their tutorials and projects and we can all be inspired.
This week I visited a place called Hill Close Gardens in Warwick, which is not far from where I live for their Snowdrop Weekend. It was so lovely, with loads of snowdrops popping up everywhere. They have over 130 varieties apparently which I didn’t realise was a thing, I honestly though an snowdrop was a snowdrop! I shared more photos on my Insta if you like looking at this sort of thing. We went there once before in the summer of 2021 when we were looking for outside “just come out of lockdown” friendly things to do. It’s a set of walled Victorian gardens that were owned by shopkeepers from the town of Warwick who lived above their shops and had no outdoor space. The history of the gardens and how they were saved is fascinating, you can read about it here. If you are ever visiting Warwickshire in the middle of England I’d recommend adding it to your list. It’s not big, you’ll only need a hour or 2 to look round then pop into Warwick town centre for tea and a cake!
Enough about me, now let’s take a look at the features now from last week’s Handmade Monday . Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
Beautiful beaded heart decorations from Steph Creates.
T & C Crafters have made such a fun gift idea for young children; wax crayon letters spelling out their name.
Wendy from My French Twist showed us how to make macrame hearts, aren’t they lovely?
Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
