This is the punched tin lantern that I made for the Sustainable Pinterest Challenge this week. Last week I mentioned how good my family are at putting up with random half made craft projects scattered around the house but my husband really made me laugh this morning. We were talking about Instagram for some reason, he has an account but rarely ever check it. This morning though he started scrolling through my feed and spotted this lantern. “That’s nice,” he said, “did you make it? What did you do with it?” This tealight lantern has been sitting on our kitchen windowsill for a full 7 days now!
