Handmade Monday #298
/Welcome to Handmade Monday, our link up for all things handmade. Crafts, decor ideas and recipes are all welcome here: if it’s handmade then we are happy for you to share it. This is a great place to find a few new creative ideas and inspiration too.
Usually at this point I say a little something about what I’ve been up to this last week. Honestly, last week went by in such a flash I honestly can’t think what I did! My brother popped in yesterday with a load of apples from an apple tree that my mum planted about 20 years ago. Sadly she didn’t live long enough to see it fruit really well but my brother inherited her house and garden and the tree has had an especially good year. As we eat the crumble I make from them it is a lovely feeling of being looked after by her if that makes any sense.
I think I’ll use some of this lot to make an Apple Cake too, using my Nan’s recipe.
Now let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
I love love love sappy Christmas movies. They are my October/November guilty pleasure and by 1st December I’m done with them! Amalia has a brilliant list of life lessons they teach us. No 7 is particularly good!
Serenity You has made an After Eights Mouse that is SO simple to put together and looks really pretty too.
My French Twist has a beautiful and simple decorative idea, these thread wrapped wheat stalks.
Keeping it Real has a free pattern for this lovely textured crochet dishcloth which I really love. I think the textures are just beautiful.
Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week.
