I took a quiet moment on Tuesday afternoon to do this little flowery doodle. Tuesday was my birthday so apart from a very small amount of work first thing I mostly had a relaxing day. A few friends came over for a cuppa in the morning and then in the evening we went for a meal with the family. My husband really went all out with a birthday cake and made this Chocolate and Orange beauty. He’s always enjoyed baking but his makes usually fall into the “taste better than they look” category. He’s been working on refining his presentation skills recently though and I am here for it!
I’m still ploughing on with Me Made May on Instagram, May has never felt like such a long month!!

Allyson from Southern Sunflowers decorated a plain wooden tray with some fun cupcake fabric and a sweet paint design. It couldn’t be more cute!
