Handmade Monday #275

Hello all, welcome back to Handmade Monday. We missed last week as it was the Easter bank holiday weekend and so here in the UK at least Monday was a public holiday. Normally that would means plans with family for me but unfortunately I had covid and so was isolating in our spare room! I was very fortunate not to be too ill at all, I’m all jabbed up anyway, and have recovered well.

I’ve picked extra features from the Handmade Monday from 2 weeks ago to make up for missing a week so rather than rambling on about my craft exploits let’s just get on with the features.

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Sally from Within a World of my Own shared not only some beautiful bracelets she has made with paper beads but also the design process behind the bracelets, how she chooses the magazine pages, what they look like as beads v the original page etc. It’s totally fascinating AND the finished bracelets are just lovely too.

I love these gorgeous little slim pouches from Chez Vies. Elvira explains how to easily adapt an existing pouch pattern to crate these and she has a couple of videos to help you make them too.

Lindsey the Artsy-Fartsy Mama used a different method of wood burning to make these Hogwarts coasters. It’s a paste that you use with a stencil and heat gun instead of a traditional pyrography tool, isn’t the effect lovely? Lindsey explains the process really thoroughly too.

This butterfly card from Paper Seedlings is so pretty and uses some lovely paper crafting techniques.

Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
