Handmade Monday #260
/Welcome to the first Handmade Monday link up of 2022. Join us and share a handmade project if you are a creative blogger or browse for some new ideas and inspiration.
I hope you all had a good festive break and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
We had a very quiet new year, I went down with a bit of a cold (just a cold thankfully, my tests are all negative) so didn’t feel like doing anything fancy. I spent the evening in my PJ’s watching tv and eating pizza and fried chicken! I toasted the new year with a hot honey and lemon then went back to bed. Rock n roll! I hope your start to the year was a good one.
Now here are the features from our last Handmade Monday from before Christmas, just click through on the photos to see the original posts -
Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
Frederique from Quilting Patch told us all about the Guild Meeting she attended with a guest who gave a workshop on Pojagi or Bojagi. It’s spooky as I had just been researching this type of quilting just the other day! It’s very beautiful and versatile, one to add to the list to try.
Valaria from Just East of Eden shared this beautiful crochet mod sock monkey blanket with the pattern. I love the texture and colour combo.
These tri colour polvorones or Mexican cookies from Cindy’s on-line recipe box look delicious. The shape reminds me a tiny bit of ladybirds (or ladybugs as they are called in some places, or even coccinellidae to use their proper name - I did look that up obviously!) but maybe that’s a bit of a stretch!
Check out these beautiful cozy mittens from Annemarie’s Haak Blog, perfect for chilly days.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog. I think you should - you deserve it!!!
Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Supporting one another with a like or share isn’t too much to ask right? And every little helps :-)
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
