Handmade Monday #359
Welcome to another Handmade Monday, our weekly link up for all things handmade.
Instead of a pic of something I’ve been working on this week I’m going to share a tv show recommendation. I don’t know if it’s available to watch all around the world but I’ve spent the last week binge watching Junior Bake Off, that I’d recorded a few weeks ago. It’s a spin off from the Great British Bake Off and all the competitors are aged 9 - 12. It’s just the most wholesome tv show. The kids are great, so supportive of each other and so creative with their baking. The judges are perfect, with lots of advice and a great way of finding a positive somewhere even when a contestant has dished up what can only be called a hot mess. It’s the most fantastic mix of complete chaos and brilliant baking, I love it! If you do get chance to watch it I’d highly recommend. The perfect tonic.
Now let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday:
Click through on the photos to see the original posts.
Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
Stephanie from Crazy Little Love Birds made this beautiful heart decoration by upcycling an old chocolate box, you’d never guess would you?
I have totally fallen in love with this gorgeous altered book idea from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. I’m not kidding when I say I want to stop everything and find an old damaged book to alter! I have in fact showed a small amount of self control and just added it to my to do list but I plan to get round to it sooner rather than later.
This doily is such a pretty way to use a small piece of lovely fabric from Keeping it Real.
Sara from Birdz of a Feather upcycled an old plaque and made this stunning geometric art. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.
At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
