Cute Christmas Knitting Patterns to Download Today

With the festive season fast approaching it’s a great time to break out your knitting needles and yarn and create a one of a kind Christmas decoration or gift for someone special.

I love the ability the internet give us to download patterns instantly these days. I’m old enough to remember back in the day when knitting patterns came from books, magazines or that you would have to go into a store and flick through dozens of hefty folders to find the patterns you were looking for. Nowadays we can find cute patterns from designers all over the world, and then purchase them instantly from the comfort of our own homes. You can then print them out if you like a paper copy or store them on a digital device and read them from there. Using something like a tablet or Ipad means you can instantly make a pattern bigger too without another trip out to the library to use the photocopier (remember those days too!)

This is more convenient for us as consumers but also gives small independent designers access to markets they would only have been able to dream of before.

Instant downloadable PDF patterns tend to be very reasonably priced too and one of my favourite places to look for them is Etsy. I’ve had a lot of fun scouring Etsy to bring you a collection of what I think are just the cutest Christmas knitting patterns.

I hope you enjoy browsing these cute patterns as much as I have. Just click though the pictures to be taken to the Etsy site if you would like more details on the patterns or if you’d like to make a purchase.
